Thoughts

Dear Gunam Aunty, Sharmini and Meera We only have the fondest memories of the great Siva Uncle. His big personality always made everything more exciting and fun. It is a long time since we were together, but we recognise that he was such an important part of our lives, as well as yours. Visits to your house were always a treat and something to look forward to - there would be so much laughing and talking. We are so sorry he was taken away too soon. Take care and all our love, Raj, Gowry, Arty & Jay Rajendra

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Siva uncle. I was privilege to get to know uncle and his family through Tamil school during my youth and became friends of Meera and Sharmini during that time. He was a very warm hearted gentleman and very caring. Although he was not a relative he was a true uncle and helped my family in times of need at a personnel level. He was very supportive in every way possible. I feel very grateful for this. I loved his jovial and happy bubbly character and his infectious smile and laughter. Whenever I was going to visit his home I knew I will be having a fun and welcoming time. I truly miss those days. I will always remember this special uncle and his smiling face. Thank you uncle and I pray that you rest in peace. My sincere condolences to Gunam aunty, Meera, Sharmini and family. My thoughts are with you all. Sheila Rasakulasuriar

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Siva. He was a fantastic neighbour and friend. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife Gunam, daughters Meera and Sharmini and their families. We want to acknowledge Siva's kindness, hospitality and generosity and thank him and his family for reaching out to us and welcoming us to the neighbourhood many years ago. Siva's infectious smile and great sense of humour touched those of us who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will forever remain in our hearts. Love Andy and Marina
